The Blessing of Abraham

Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father.

                                                                                                              —Galatians 1:4

God wants to release such a magnificent blessing, a faith-filled revelation of the blessing of Abraham on you, that you begin to walk out of all confinement and all captivity in the midst of this present evil age. The blessing is on you, and as it was when the judges came to the land, those walking in the blessing will overcome.

Knowing Who You Are in Christ

We can stand in the blessing of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. One of the ways you can overcome in the midst of this present evil age is to know your covenant. So when we say “We’re going red,” we are declaring that the blessing of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is active in our lives.

It is important to be aware of what you have in Christ. Faith works by what you know. If you do not know your rights, then you do not have knowledge of what Jesus provided for you. By accepting Christ, you are not simply avoiding hell. There is more that Jesus did than just cover your fire insurance; there is a great mission that is critical for you to complete.

With all the wickedness in the world today, you need to have awareness of who you are and what you are called to do. I have a burning sense of purpose to not only equip you to continue teaching the Word of God, but also to continue reminding you who you are. If you are in Christ Jesus, the Lord has called and equipped you for the assignments He has for you. Educate yourself in faith by the Word of God on what you already have.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

                                                                                                              —John 16:33

Your circumstances may not shift right away, but you can transform if you begin to meditate on the Word of God. Everyone has the ability to change, but change is not real until it happens inside of you. Meditating on the Word of God and getting it on the inside will begin to build and cause you to be transformed.

Even if your circumstances do not shift right away, you can. Eventually, by default, you will affect everything around you through faith, patience, belief, righteous action, sowing and reaping, and finding your place in the Body.

Everything around you will shift, and it starts with you. By renewing your mind to the Word of God and letting Jesus transform who you are, it will allow you to be delivered from this present evil age. You are called to rise up with the Word of God and overcome in the midst of adversity because Jesus is in you, the hope of Glory.

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

                                                                                                              —Colossians 1:27

The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

                                                                                                              —Proverbs 10:22

Proverbs 10:22 shows that the blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He doesn’t add sorrow to it. Whatever Abraham had, you can have. This includes all the blessings entailed. This is just one part of the blessing of the Lord. When we engage in the discussion of wealth transfers, as well as God advancing you, all of it is predicated on what you are aware of, who you are connected to in the kingdom, where you are at in the body of Christ, and on walking in unwavering obedience to where He has sent you.

Blessed with Believing Abraham

Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— 6 just as Abraham

“believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

                                                                                                              —Galatians 3:5-6

According to Galatians 3:5, God works miracles among His people. This did not go away. The miracle-working power of God is still present, and the Holy Spirit did not leave. When you receive salvation and get filled with the Spirit, you become a miracle. God wants to use your life as a demonstration against darkness.

In verse 6, it says that Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. More than ever in the midst of it all, you must marshal your mind and marshal your faith to believe God. Unfortunately, too many people go to God as a last resort when nothing else has worked. When the Lord says to lead with believing Him, then we need to believe like Abraham, who, when he believed God, “it was accounted to him as righteousness.”

Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

                                                                                                              —Galatians 3:7-9

Galatians 3:9 says, “…those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.” The same blessings and promises that God gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were placed in Christ, and the moment that Jesus became your Lord, those blessings also became yours.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” 12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.” 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”). 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

                                                                                                              —Galatians 3:10-14

Consequently, the law contains 613 regulations and commandments. If you do not know them all, you are breaking them. However, when you look at this, no one is justified by the law in the sight of God. This is evident. When you believe in His name, Jesus, who is God in the flesh, whom the Lord sent, you are redeemed from the curse of the law. So that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, and we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ.

                                                                                                              —Galatians 3:16

He did not give it to many seeds; He gave it to one seed. The seed of Abraham; that is Jesus. When Jesus becomes your Lord, and you believe in His name, you walk in the same blessing. Any promise in the Old Testament where you see God made a covenant of favor with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those promises are yours as well because you are in Christ.

Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the Lord will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said.

                                                                                                              —Joshua 14:12

We declare that we are fully equipped, just as Joshua was, to go claim our mountain, and that walking through this time, we have the blessing of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob actively working in our lives! All things are going to work out for your good (see Romans 8:28). God is with you. You are fully well and able to go and take the “country.”

Light in Goshen

When the children of Israel foresaw challenges coming, they stood in the midst of it all. God was for them, and though it was dark in Egypt, there was light in Goshen. While the ten plagues hit Egypt, the children of Israel were untouched, and you have the same covering from God.

During this time, the body of Christ is here to break the normalcy bias, crisis fatigue, and any hidden agenda from the enemy. As a believer, you have the strength to stand up because, even on a bad day, you are anointed to be the very best there is. God has chosen and destined you for such a time as this. You will not falter or shrink back because your children are worth fighting for.

Now is the time to lean into Jesus and renew your mind so that you can receive a revelation of what you have and who you are in Christ. Through this revelation, you will be readily equipped to walk in the will of God, and that becomes part of your identity when you renew your mind.

You are equipped with the blessing of Abraham, and as a believer, you are standing in the way of the Antichrist spirit in the world today. Even though the Antichrist is in the world, Christ is in you, the hope of glory, and God is with you in the midst of it all. Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world (see 1 John 4:4). The Church is a light in darkness, and believers are pushing back against all the nefarious plans of the enemy.

For Jesus,

Joseph Z
