Dear Partners and Friends

Partners and friends, I am so pleased to write you this month! What a season of life we are in. We’ve constantly established a greater reach through media, travel, and conferences this past year, and this effective direction will continue. In all the travels and lives we can touch, we are most thrilled about the expectation of our grandbaby right around the corner. Alison and her husband Jeremy are getting ready to welcome our little granddaughter into the world, and we know they are going to be excellent parents. Soon we will be announcing our new grandbaby! This is highly significant to us, as Ali herself is a miracle in the way God saved her life when she was in Heather’s womb; now Ali is having a baby girl due in June, and we are elated to meet her. 

Additionally, after a very long time of waiting and working with our contractors to get through a lot of challenging requirements, we are finally getting cooperation for permits and the ability to work on our building. This long delay is the reason I haven’t talked about the building as often for a few months. Now that we are about to begin, it is coming back front and center again, and means we can finally begin the renovation process, which will likely take the summer to complete.

A lot of prayer and persistence have gone into getting our renovation started after what has been nearly a year of constant delay, and this is due to several permit issues left unresolved from the previous owner. We knew this was going into the property, but it took longer to get the permissions cleared than we initially anticipated. For months, we have been diligently going through the painstaking process of resolving it all, one issue at a time. A final hurdle we had to get past was getting a new septic approved to meet new Colorado State regulations, which came out the past year and demand very high requirements. We are being told that it will get stricter next year, so we are thankful to be working this all out before that takes place. Even though it has taken a long time to get everything compliant, it has still been a wonderful property for us as it uniquely fits us. We have been able to make due to the best of our ability and utilize the fireplace room, which has allowed us to film and meet as a team. However, the majority of the building has remained completely unfinished; thankfully, that is what we are about to remodel. Even with the various permit issues, the studio property has still been of tremendous value to us due to the amazing purchase value and space to function. We know God has blessed us tremendously with the building. 

Upon finishing this project, we will have abundant studio and broadcast space to serve the growing demand of daily LIVE broadcasts, Daily TV, Podcasting, special guest interviews, live coverage of events in real time, panel discussions, and, of course, creating new quality teaching material for you and our listeners. As thrilling as it will be to finish the building and studios, another “good problem” has arisen. I say good problem, because it has to do with growth and means we are hitting the target to reach you and a growing number of daily viewers. 

Here is what I mean: currently, we have 40 employees (not counting volunteers), and we estimate that 20 is the beginning number of staff that will be necessary at our local Colorado headquarters. Over the past 2 years, as we have been growing, we have had the majority of our staff and team work remotely due to growth and no place to put them, and due to the delays in the property renovation. We have considered a few different options for our local staff, and one answer to this growing demand for additional staff and team is to break ground and build onto the property we currently have. However, the broadcast center property has limited space for adding a building, and we would likely find ourselves in a similar position down the road; therefore, we are seriously looking at acquiring a building we would use both as a conference center and that would include offices for our staff and team. We will be looking for land to build on or land with a building that fits the ministry’s needs. 

Conferences we can hold in our own facility for special training and larger conferences inspire us to pour into our viewers and the next generation. This is on point as we build the goal of hitting the vision of a million for a billion. After we finish renovating the World Broadcast Center, I intend, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, to establish a conference center in Colorado as well as hold conferences in various cities around the country. Between our daily media presence and conferences, we believe in a massive impact. 

One thing that thrills me about this renovation is the increased development of our call team so we can better service our partners and viewers with the best care available. This will require an in-house call center that will be available during live broadcasts, special events, and, of course, our daily TV program. We believe high touch beats high tech every time. We plan to offer real people available to speak with you and pray with you in real time during our broadcasts. 

The main thing we are focusing on right now is getting the studio building finished. One thing that has been very beneficial to the delay has been that during the time we have had, we have been able to process the best way to function and make valuable changes during the wait. Things that would have been an oversight had we moved right into the renovation and construction right at the beginning. I choose to view that as a blessing. 

As I’ve been praying about this, I can feel God placing a greater responsibility on us to reach more people than ever before. It is a privilege to work for Jesus and teach His Word. These next steps are necessary to accomplish this assignment, and we need your help to do it. 

Now that we are stepping into the first phase of this expansion, I would like to ask if you would consider sowing into the renovation of the building and helping us pay off the building, making it completely debt-free. 

Your kindness and generosity have allowed this ministry to reach as far as it has, yet this is only the beginning. Together, it is my prayer that we do raise up a million to reach a billion souls for Jesus. As we diligently continue what God has called us to from the beginning, I want to thank you. Thank you for praying for us and being a part of our broadcasts, and a deep, heartfelt thank you for your partnership. We love you and pray for you every day, and will continue to go as far as we can with this message.
