Dear Partners and Friends,
God in “eternity past” was thinking about you. There was peace, stillness, and fulfillment.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
—John 1:1
The Father is the Source, the One who loves the Son and, through Him, would love all that would come in “eternity future.” It must have been a pleasant moment for Them when the time came to manifest what They had imagined together. The inner essence of the Father desired to create what was already a reality on the inside. There was only one way to release it—to speak. His Voice was found in His Son. The worlds would be formed through Jesus because He is the exact representation of God the Father—especially in word form.
In my mind, I see it like this: “Let there be light!” was uttered, and the sound of that voice came through the Son, and light was. Jesus: the Word made flesh. Jesus was that same “Word with God” in the beginning. Jesus was the “Master Craftsman” beside God the Father, creating the world. The Father spoke through the Son. Jesus is the Voice of God!
The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old. 23 I have been established from everlasting, from the beginning, before there was ever an earth. 24 When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I was brought forth; 26 while as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, or the primal dust of the world. 27 When He prepared the heavens, I was there, when He drew a circle on the face of the deep, 28 when He established the clouds above, when He strengthened the fountains of the deep, 29 when He assigned to the sea its limit, so that the waters would not transgress His command, when He marked out the foundations of the earth, 30 then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him, 31 Rejoicing in His inhabited world, and my delight was with the sons of men.

It is profound to realize that from the time of creation through the Son to the moment of jealousy and rage that filled Lucifer, God the Father and Jesus the Son had a rescue mission in place to redeem humanity. From man’s fall to redemption, God, knowing everything that would transpire, still chose to move forward with the creation and the plan for “eternity future”!
After Jesus’ glorious resurrection served defeat to the powers of darkness and put them on display, came the empowerment of the Ekklesia, the Church of Jesus. God, in His wisdom, sent His Son to be a prototype for what we are to collectively be. Jesus not only defeated the powers of darkness, but He also wants us to enforce what He accomplished. Today we have authority over snakes, scorpions, and all the power of the enemy. In part, this is to finish what He purposed with the gospel, as well as prepare His Body to rule in “eternity future” as kings and lords. You might say that this life is a one-shot dress rehearsal for eternity. How you deal with opposition from the enemy is practice. How any believer overcomes during this present evil age is a proving ground for what lies ahead.
Jesus our Lord—our great High Priest, the author and finisher of our faith—has shown us how winning is done. A kingdom of darkness remains, although defeated; we are to enforce the victory provided for us and continue to transfer anyone and everyone we can into the kingdom of God. The devil knows his time is short, that his days are numbered. As the body of Christ, we are in a race to win as many as we can before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord, when He will finally sentence and execute the full force of the destined punishment on all darkness. It is not a mystery to any Bible-believing person that this day will come. Your job is to rise, overcome, make disciples, and recognize that you have been given the authority to stand against the wickedness induced from the very beginning by Lucifer.
You can rise to your God-given potential in faith and discernment! Be encouraged, read your Bible, pray in the Spirit, and things will become clear. Do not be led along by every new wind of doctrine, nor every new experimental thing that comes along. Test the spirits by the Word of God, listen to ongoing healthy teaching, and you will have success navigating now in this time.
