It doesn’t take a prophet to see that the world is in a season of intense shaking. Everywhere you look, the landscape is accelerating toward what the Bible calls the “last of the last days scene”. Whether it’s the crisis fatigue driven by constant geopolitical unrest, the fear surrounding A.I. and technological change, or the rising emphasis on end-times deceptions like UFO and alien phenomena, it is easy to feel overwhelmed. We are truly living in times where the world around us seems to be spiraling into chaos, and the culture is going mad.

But I want you to know a vital truth: One man or woman with a word from God is not at the mercy of a culture going mad.

You are not a victim of circumstances—you are an enforcer of victory! Jesus has already won, and He has equipped you to rise up, weaponize your faith, and stand unshakable in this shifting world. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (see Luke 10:19). For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith (see 1 John 5:4 NIV).

So, what is the believer’s mandated response when everything is shaking? It is not to react in fear, but to act in authority. Your authority is the blueprint for punishing the darkness.

The primary battlefield is your mind. The enemy attempts to plant thoughts that produce fear, anxiety, and confusion. We must confront these lies with the uncompromised Word of God. The answer is twofold:

 

Renew Your Mind and Claim Your Authority

 

You have the authority to refuse crisis fatigue. Practical stability comes from fixing your eyes on the finished work of Jesus. We move from defense to supernatural offense by:

• Taking every thought captive. Intentionally replace lies with Scripture daily. You are casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (see 2 Corinthians 10:5). You cannot fight thoughts with thoughts; you must fight negative thoughts with words you speak. You must be transformed by the renewing of your mind (see Romans 12:2).
• Walking in Forgiveness. Forgiveness is a superpower. A forgiving person walks free, stripping the darkness of every hold it has on you.
• Refusing to be timid and passive. Know that God wants you delivered from this present evil age, and enforce His victory through obedient action. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world (see 1 John 4:17).

Deploy Your Spiritual Weapons

 

You must operate from revelation, not endless battle fatigue. Remember, where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint (see Proverbs 29:18). We use God’s weaponry to confront and judge disobedient thoughts and demonic schemes in the spiritual realm:

• Praise and Declaration: Cultivate joy in God’s glory, exercising high praises and the two-edged sword (the spoken Word of God) to shift the atmosphere around you.
• Pray in the Spirit: As a spirit-filled believer, you must pray in tongues often and as long as you can. This will edify you. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (see James 5:16).
• Plead the Blood of Jesus: Declaring the Blood of Jesus is a statement of the highest spiritual currency in the universe. This is our “Going Red” declaration—no power in hell can stand against the Greater One who lives in us. We know that the accuser of our brethren has been cast down (see Revelation 12:10), and Jesus always lives to make intercession for them (see Hebrews 7:25).

Your role is to enforce the victory Jesus already provided by punishing darkness through mind renewal and authoritative obedience. You must be alert and of sober mind (see 1 Peter 5:8 NIV) because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (see 1 Peter 5:8). Therefore, be sure to take the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one (see Ephesians 6:16).

 

God wants you to win even more than you do. He wants you to experience the full quality of life He provided while you do His will. Make your plans big! Be bold, be strong, and be sure to occupy and become immersed in accomplishing His will. His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness (see 2 Peter 1:3-4 NIV).

 

You can do this! And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (see Philippians 4:7). Your life is part of the amazing saga in which God has placed you to participate.
