Intersections and moments of divine occasion are defined by the preparation that meets
opportunity. I was just reading Psalm 105, which speaks of Joseph and the promises God gave
him through dreams as a young man. Everything in his life went contrary to what he declared
and had seen prophetically for his future, and therein lies the test.

Psalm 105 states it very plainly in the NKJV regarding the synopsis of Joseph’s journey.
He sent a man before them—Joseph—who was sold as a slave. 18  They hurt his
feet with fetters, he was laid in irons. 19 Until the time that his word came to pass,
the word of the LORD tested him. 20 The king sent and released him, the ruler of
the people let him go free. 21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his
possessions, 22 to bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom. 23
Israel also came into Egypt, and Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham. 24 He increased
His people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.

Refuse to merely endure the current climate of evil. You must recognize that you hold the weaponry to defeat the spirit of Jezebel and protect the generations to come.

A standout verse in that passage reads, “Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of
the LORD tested him” (Psalm 105:19). Think about that: the promises or what God has shown
you may very well be a test for you. How? We might say the time between the promise and
manifestation in the waiting process. You might be carrying a dream or desire in your heart that
won’t leave you and continues to be present as you go about your life—but it hasn’t happened
yet. A word from the Lord or a dream that has been with you a long time and seemingly delayed
can be your test. It is a test to see how you will act during the long season when everything is the
opposite of what you have believed and desired. In an opposite season, you develop character
and faith to receive without seeing. Hebrews 6 is such an encouragement when considering this
very issue in your life.
That you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and
patience inherit the promises.

To remedy losing your promise or dream from God during the long season or wait, we are to do
what the Word of God prescribes and imitate those who have gone before us. How? By imitating
their faith and patience until we receive the promise. Abraham did this and is an example of
persevering for the promise.
Something that needs to be considered is that delays, trials, or anything keeping what you believe
for back has an expiration date. We often say in our family when we have faced issues, “This
trial has the shelf life of a banana!” It’s a little humorous but a good confession regarding what
you are facing. It is very encouraging to know that God wants you to win even more than you do
and that He is very much engaged with what is in your heart. If it is His will, and you are
walking in obedience to His Word, you can ask for anything in that scope, and it will be done for
you.

Every person will cross paths with divine intersections, and I have found it is best to be prepared
for those when they happen. Divine intersections make an impact on your future when you cross
them prepared. Preparation is a thing of faith and training, where opportunity is God’s
responsibility. Meaning this: prepare in faith for that moment! For THE moment, you believe for.
If you do this, not only will you find that what you have believed for will have a greater level of
security when it lands with you, but it will be far smoother when the opportunity presents itself.
Film plots, at least the good ones, often have what they call a MacGuffin, or an object of
attention, intrigue, and the fundamental why of a plot. For example, in the film Raiders of the
Lost Ark, the MacGuffin is the ark of the covenant in the plot; everything revolves around that. It
might be said that you need a MacGuffin in every season of your life or a target to chase after
with your attention and God-given dreams.
For us, it has been an expansion of land that I believe we are to step into for the sake of building
content and making disciples through media. When asked what I want to accomplish with my
life, I would say to develop a Skywalker Ranch-type global broadcast center. This would unite
and reach disciples all around the world, no matter where they are. Of course, this is my desire to
raise a million to reach a billion.
Post Sail Media Global Network let the world see He is good. Interestingly enough, I was
recently interviewing Billye Brim. She looked at me with steely blue eyes and said, “Do you
know what your name means?” I said, “Yes. It means God shall add.” She said, “It means so
much more than that!” Billye said that my name, Joseph, means increase and that it is very
meaningful for me. It became a prophetic word that came through her as she said this. My name
means increase! It hit me hard that my name means increase, and Z, the last letter of the
alphabet, references the last. I have received prophetic words that my name refers to a last day’s
anointing of increase and prophecy. Interesting, to say the least.

Heather and I believe that we will fulfill what the Great God of Heaven has called us to do. This
means preparing and being ready in and out of season for every opportunity within His will that
is presented to us for the furtherance of this message. May the same be true for you, dear partner
and friend! God has something truly special around the corner for you, and as one older friend of
mine, who is in heaven today, used to say, “God will call you to do things that give you a buzz!”
That was always so humorous to me when he would say that. In other words, God knows you
better than you do, and He can bring you into the intersection that offers you everything you
never even knew you wanted! What a God, and what a privilege it is to serve Him.
I desire that this monthly letter I put out is a source of encouragement to you and increases your
faith in the Lord. Let me also say thank you for your friendship and prayers for us. We aim to
raise a million for a billion lives to make God rich. One million clear-eyed, clear-minded
disciples who will, in turn, win a billion converts in their lifetime. It is one of the main things we
are called to do, and through media, it is the number one place we can make that happen. Your

support through giving and partnership is meaningful and beneficial for the cause laid in front of
