December 2024 Partner Newsletter
Dear Partners and Friends
Thank you for taking the time to allow me to write to you this month. Each letter I write to you is extremely heartfelt with you, our dear partner and friend in mind. It is December, and we are already seeing the election’s effects well before January comes into play. Prayer has been our go-to continuously regarding all the global issues unfolding, and it would seem everywhere all at once. Yet, no matter what the horizon brings us, I remember the former goodness of God in our journey, and it gives me hope and great faith in what is around the bend.

Reflection is a wonderful tool when remembering all the things the Lord has brought you through. In our case, it is often this time of year when I am often reminded of the beginning days of our ministry. It was a challenging time filled with a lot of room for lessons on overcoming and standing in faith until we could see the goodness of God manifest the way we believed for at the time. I recall working construction full time while also going to Bible school full time, which meant carrying a full study load, and I was fulfilling requests to preach on the weekends abroad and for our weekly services at our ministry. We only had one car and two babies in those days. Those times were educational and very challenging, but they made us believers in the ability of God to bring us through anything.
Our beginning years were very meager, and our vision at that time was so small. We were happy just to have a place to live and survive. Honestly, the first time I wrote my vision on paper, it was limited because I knew nothing about the faith that pleases God. Many believers are trapped by some kind of religious self-obligation and bound by what they think they can ask God for. He desires you to go big in your faith and desires—because He put them there!
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
––Ephesians 3:20
I didn’t want to trouble the Lord or put too much demand on Him, so all I wrote was a faith request for a guitar and a cellphone. This was back when everyone started getting personal cell phones. That was all I had faith for. Not a home, not income, just a guitar, and a cellphone. I figured we could do meetings and take a guitar to lead worship and speak, but we would need a phone to communicate. My heart said, Lord, that is all I need.
After a while, those items came to us. I was gifted a guitar and continued believing God to grow. During those times, we were impoverished to an embarrassing level. It is so funny when you recall these things, especially to our children Alison and Daniel. They laugh with us because they don’t remember being impoverished or having to deal with not being able to do what most other people could routinely do. We made things so fun when we were together that it was not a thought to our kids that we didn’t have much.
There came a day when we could get a membership at the YMCA. It was new, with a gym, a pool, and an area for our kids to go and play. So rather than vacations or doing other things, we spent all our time exercising and often swimming with Alison and Daniel. We made it a daily thing to be there, often early in the morning or later in the evening.
Many times, while doing construction, there were jobs I did that were sometimes monotonous yet still very hard work. Time was provided to listen in those construction settings so I could listen to the Bible on audio. In my pocket was an MP3 player loaded with the Bible and commentaries that played in my earbuds all day. That experience, listening to copious hours of teaching, commentary, and straight Bible, was better than the University I attended for my biblical studies––it was my private Bible school in my pocket.
I devoured those commentaries and listened to anywhere from 6-12 hours of Bible reading some days. It was common with that kind of audio Bible playing in my ears to take in the New Testament as much as three or four times per week, sometimes more. A prayer rose in my heart nearly every day, “Lord if You empower me to do ministry and reach people at a high level, I will work diligently for You.” “You can count on me, Sir.” Those kinds of prayers were often on my lips and heart.
All Heather and I wanted to do was to minister the Word of God to people. Our breakthrough moments came in surges and subtle waves of growth. It was a very long process for us to come out of the days of very little and work around the clock for years. The main thing that caused us to outgrow lack, and that feeling of working around the clock but not going anywhere, was giving. Yes, giving was the main thing that broke us out of containment in our lives and ability to do anything in life. We started giving small. Then, we gave right to the limit until we started giving to a level, which caused us to want to see if we could out-give God.
Our giving eventually outdid our income. In other words, we were at the point where we would often clear out our bank accounts to sow into ministry, and when there wasn’t any money to give, we moved to give whatever else we had. To date, I don’t even know how many cars we have given. Sometimes, in the beginning, they were just basic cars, until we came to the point of giving newer cars away and even buying people new cars with money we absolutely didn’t have.
Knowing God’s covenant blessing has become a major part of our desires. It was a passion. Radical giving has become an obsession in our lives. I will never forget the weekend two separate people from two different settings reached out to us within the same day to let us know they wanted to give us new vehicles. It blew us away. That was God’s way of letting us know we were doing the right things.
Jesus and the Kingmakers
The world is entering a crucial time of upheaval, where darkness seeks to rule and chaos seems inevitable. But from the very beginning, God’s plan has never wavered—He raises up His people to establish His Kingdom on earth.
Now, you are being called to take your place in this prophetic lineage. With profound insight and clarity, Joseph Z reveals how you can:
- Recognize your role as a kingmaker in this generation.
- Access supernatural resources to break the strongholds of the enemy.
- Operate in spiritual authority to shift the course of nations.
- Receive divine strategies to expand God’s Kingdom in your sphere of influence.
The days of ordinary living are over. You’ve been marked for greatness. Rise up, break hell’s economy, and become the kingmaker God destined you to be!
Resources slowly but eventually began to flow into our lives and ministry. We enjoyed the two vehicles we had given us for a season, and the time came when the Lord spoke to us both, saying sow these. We didn’t have any alternative vehicles at the time, but we chose to sow them as we sensed we were to do. When the time came that the Lord asked us to sow them, we did so with joy. What we were doing was inducing the miracle power of God in our lives for resources. It was the only way I knew how to get out of any financially limiting issue. This process continued until we realized we could buy the things we needed. God had helped us in a variety of ways as well as with the growth of our ministry.
Heather and I, as well as our children, know that it has never been by our ability that our lives and ministry have seen such growth; it is only by the hand of the Lord God Almighty.
Through His Word and obeying it, His principles took effect in our lives, and we outgrew the yokes that were withholding the fruits of the blessing from our future.
Radical, consistent giving will break you out of containment!
It is true! Nothing can withstand the response of a seed sown in faith. Not bad economy, wars, famine, or getting laid off—nothing can stop it! Today, it is humbling to see how God’s hand of favor continues to help us reach so many people through media and the places we travel. It is a delight to work with the Holy Spirit in unity to experience the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. God’s promises will work for you, dear friend and partner! They really will because God has this thing about being believed. He does—God wants to be believed, and anyone who rises to the level of His belief can see anything take place according to His will in their life.
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9 As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” 10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.
––2 Corinthians 9:6-11
It is very clear when the Word of God talks about sowing sparingly and reaping sparingly. You get what you sow. Someone once said going to the gym is one of the few things in life that is truly fair. You get out of it what you put into it. However, sowing and reaping is not only a fair exchange but also a multiplier. In your life, the barrier is that “oh no” moment when you allow resources to leave your hand and gift it into God’s work. That was the real barrier for us, letting go of what was in my hand and trusting that God would do something with it and take care of my family. Once that barrier is broken, everything begins flowing like a roaring river. Great input leads to a multiplied return.
Today, sowing into ministries, Bible teaching, evangelism, and rescuing those who cannot rescue themselves is a major part of what we do. It is God’s economy, His system for making things operate. Nothing functions properly in the kingdom of God without being done in God’s way.
We are dedicated to advancing the kingdom of God and His righteousness. This is where we come to our mandate of a Million for a Billion. We are well past the times of thinking small because God requires us to reach beyond where we have been to advance His kingdom message, and the most effective thing we can do is continue making disciples through media. Our goal is a million. Those one million will be equipped to go after God’s lost generation and win a billion converts to Jesus. Along the way, we will train, equip, and travel, which is why we are honored to work diligently for the gospel. We go LIVE nearly daily through all of our social media and on the TV networks that have asked to air our daily broadcast. In addition to going live with prophetic journalism, we are on Television. We are believing that this coming year we will go on many more outlets than we currently are a part of.
A fiduciary responsibility has been laid upon me to accomplish what the Lord has mandated me to do. One of the main objectives is to continue building media for you and the world’s nations. I believe we can reach far more people for the gospel through every form of media than any other way. Of course, we will continue to hold conferences and put out written materials such as books and study manuals to help you develop. Only our goal is always and will forever be to bring glory to Jesus and continue advancing His written word worldwide.
You, dear partner and friend, make it possible. This coming year will be filled with the greatest exploits we have ever seen. Partnership allows that, and it makes a way for many to hear and be impacted by the Gospel and the Voice of God.
Please know that you are loved during this holiday season. You are prayed for, and we sincerely care about you. One of the biggest things we hear about from our call team, those who call our partners regularly, is that so many of you are thankful that when we call, it is not to ask you for anything. That is our desire and our heart for you. We only call partners to pray for you and stand with you, nothing more. Your generosity means so much to us. Heather and I feel it is vital that we stand with you in return by praying for you when we call. We want you to know that you are loved and not alone. We will continue to pray for you and with you.
I want you to know that Jesus and we love you this Christmas and New Year! Merry Christmas!
For Jesus,
Joseph Z
