February 2025 Partner Newsletter
Dear Partners and Friends
I was recently pondering a thought. How old were you when you first realized you existed? Can you remember that moment? Just a few days ago, I began to think about it. I was about 4 years old, walking through a field coming up from a river on my childhood ranch. When this occurred, it was a sense of curiosity: how did I get here, where was I before this, and what was my origin? A powerful self-awareness came over me that I existed. It was that warm awareness that felt like love and destiny. While looking down at my feet in the tall grass and then at the clouds, the question of origin and a sense of being there for a reason was strong. Today, it is clear that the Lord God Almighty was visiting me, and I was experiencing what Romans 1 states as creation itself declares that there is a God.

Demystifying the Prophetic – Now Available!

Never before has culture had a greater need for clear, prophetic insight, while never before has so much prophetic error and controversy swirled around us to discredit legitimate prophetic voices. Now, more than ever, true biblical prophecy must take its place at the forefront.
Joseph Z—an international prophetic voice—began encountering the voice of God from a young age through visions and dreams. With wisdom, accuracy, biblical balance, and experience, Joseph offers powerful keys to help you unlock the revelation, interpretation, and application of prophecy.
In Demystifying the Prophetic, Joseph Z will teach you how to:
- Identify real and false prophets
- Activate a clear-minded prophetic lifestyle
- Master your gifts and experiences
- Interpret trances, dreams, entities, déjà vu, and strange phenomena
- Recognize four types of prophets operating in the Church, government, and marketplace
- Discern the signs of the times
Mature prophecy in its pure operation stands unrivaled in power and accuracy against all counterfeit voices. The Church and the world desperately need and deserve this better class of prophetic experience. Jesus desires to work through you and equip you to prophetically navigate these last days!
He was checking in on me. I know He was! I was thinking about this, and it makes me consider every person reading this or listening to me right now. Someone once said, “The most important day in a person’s life is the day they were born… the second most important day is when they find out why…” Discovering you exist, that you matter, that you are a free moral agent capable of impacting the world around you in some way is monumental. Ultimately, however, you have a higher purpose than any motivational talk can offer: an understanding that supersedes everything involving what most would think was paramount or pinnacle to life. It is this that you, above all else, beyond all purpose—you were made for His pleasure. Not for anything else, and yes, we are here to fulfill the Great Commission and do the works God has called us to do. Yet this thought must never lose its value in our thoughts or hearts, that is, the knowing that we are ultimately here for His pleasure. And with Him, we go all the way to eternity past when there was no earth… Before the very foundation of the world, we, along with all things, were created for His pleasure.
according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
—Ephesians 1:4 KJV
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
—Revelation 4:11 KJV
Think of that! You are created for His pleasure. It is such a wonderful thought that, above all else, the purpose of your existence begins with His pleasure. Before all the jobs or assignments, we are to carry His pleasure in our life and identity. This means that even if you were stranded on an island and could never speak to another living person again, you could still be just as fulfilled as if you were reaching the masses.
An amazing thought is that God Almighty loves you and me, independent of our performance. Don’t get me wrong, we are to do what He has called us to do, but when you have a revelation of how He views you, it will begin to set you free in a greater way than you have ever known. Free to not sin and free from the power of sin. Faith in Jesus and receiving His love for you sets you free from the curse of the law.
As part of His pleasure, He has made a way for us to walk with Him by removing all condemnation and accusation against those who believe in the One He sent us—Jesus the Messiah!
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. This unlocked Abraham’s blessing for us, and it is all activated by faith.
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
—Galatians 3:13-14
Not only did Jesus become a curse for us and give us entrance into the blessing of Abraham, but He was also a priest according to the order of Melchizedek. Jesus did not have to base his priesthood on a genealogy that proved his descent from Aaron. He was like Melchizedek in that no ancestry is mentioned. The phrasing and expression “indestructible life” is unique in the New Testament and is in reference to the fact that although Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice on the cross, His life did not end—and it never will.
He conquered death after defeating sin in the flesh and now lives forever! He is presently seated at God’s right hand in heaven according to Hebrews 1:3. Through His unique and universe-shaking sacrifice, He fulfilled all the responsibilities of the Aaronic priesthood, and through His endless life, He continuously assumes the priesthood in the order of Melchizedek. He is our High Priest and great intercessor, a position He gained by the sacrifice and obedience He paid for with His life. This is why God exalted Him and gave Him the Name above all names! At the Name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!
This truth should set anyone who believes free! Because Jesus set you free from the law of sin and death, and there is, therefore, now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
To make the point a little further, Jesus was the change of the priesthood. Hebrews 7 tells us that if the priesthood changes, then the Law must change, and in the case of Jesus, being the High priest in the order of Melchizedek changed everything.
Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.
—Hebrews 7:11-12
My grandfather always said, “In religion, everything is based on doing and trying; in Christ Jesus, everything is done and trusting.” What a true statement! In Jesus, our biggest prayer should be thank you, Lord! This brings me to a strong point that coincides with what Jesus has done, and that is your part.
Upcoming Voice of God Conference!
What is your part? First, you must step into this revelation, meditate on it, read the entirety of the Word of God, and embrace the gift that Jesus gave you. From this place, you must rest. Rest? Do you mean stop everything? No, the rest I am speaking of is internal. It is the position where faith overcomes fear, where truth reigns, to the point that you enter a position of trust in what Jesus accomplished for you.
Let’s examine the scripture regarding rest as it applies to what Jesus accomplished for us. Notice the passage in Hebrews 4:11, which states, “Be diligent.”
Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
—Hebrews 4:11(NKJV)
Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
—Hebrews 4:11 (NIV)
Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.
—Hebrews 4:11 ESV
Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], that no one may fall or perish by the same kind of unbelief and disobedience [into which those in the wilderness fell].
—Hebrews 4:11 AMPC
In the following verse from Hebrews 3:18-19, we see what it means to succumb to missing the rest. Or the opposite of entering His rest.
And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
—Hebrews 3:18-19
It might be shocking to discover that disobedience through unbelief is the opposite of entering rest. However, we can confidently say that unbelief is the opposite of entering His rest. The answer is clear: We must strive to arrive at and remain in a place of faith, avoiding unbelief at every point, to fully receive all that Jesus has provided for us.
In this active position or striving to enter His rest, we can arrive at stillness.
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
—Psalm 46:10
And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.
—Exodus 14:13
Be still and know, have a revelation that He is God. Not only all over the world, but He is God directly in your life. Most people labor, strive, and obsess over all the wrong things. This is also why Jesus said, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). These “things” are what unbelievers seek. This is a significant part of mammon—seeking things and providing for yourself without God.
As you walk the path God has called you to live on, striving, wrestling, and contending to stay in the faith about what Jesus did for you will cause you to walk in the highest and best for all He has for you. I hope this helped you, and I pray that the Lord God Almighty will open to you all revelations of what you are to step into for these days directly in front of you!
