Dearest Partner,

It has been quite a busy summer, to say the least. We have traveled from Colorado to Missouri, from Alabama to North Carolina. These are just a few locations we have been to these past months. It has been such an honor to be able to travel and minister to many across the states. As Heather and I travel, we often have moments of gratitude as we think about you, our partner. We pray for you regularly and thank God for you! Thank you so much for your partnership. We truly appreciate you in so many ways.

Here am I

Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me.” 

                                                            Isaiah 6:8 NKJV

As I sit here and ask the Lord what I should write about, I hear the Lord saying the above scripture. He’s searching and asking, “Who will I send? And who will go for Us?” Are we a people who will respond, as Isaiah did, by saying, “Here am I. Send me.” 

The Lord has impressed on me the phrase one million for a billion. One million clear-eyed, Bible-believing Christians ready and prepared to bring in a billion souls. The key to seeing this accomplished is those that are ready to go! Go into the world and win the lost. The importance of this calling is that there are many perishing every second of every day. 

Matthew 9:37-38 says, “Then He said to his disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.’” The harvest is ready! Sadly, many believers aren’t responding to the call of the Lord to bring in the harvest. We need laborers, and we need those who will say yes to the call.

From a young age I have known the Lord has called me to reach a lost and dying world. Seeing people saved and experiencing the power of Jesus has been a major part of my life, starting from the young age of 13. I recall a time when I was in shops class in high school, and a fellow classmate had experienced a terrible accident with the table saw. The palm of his hand ran across the top of this saw and cut his hand to where it was pouring blood out. I remember him confronting me with his unbelief by telling me to “show him” if what I said was actually true, by seeing if God would heal his hand. Without thinking it through I quickly grabbed his hand and prayed an authoritative prayer and declaration his healing! In that moment I remember hearing my own voice say boldly, “God will heal you right now!” In my mind I said to myself, “What are you saying! You look crazy!”

I decided after praying over his hand with authority and outward confidence, that I was going to exit the room as quickly as I could. As I was walking away quickly, I heard a gasp. The young man was sitting on a worktable and had snapped to his feet. “I don’t believe this! he said, with a nervous thrill to his voice, “There is still a faint, light pink line across the palm of my hand, but it is fixed— it’s healed!” In that moment, boldness came over me (the same guy who was sneaking out of the room!) I said, “Of course God healed you!” Those who were present didn’t even know how to respond. This moment was so impactful to my life and induced a confidence in me when I realized God would back me up when I acted on His Word!

There were many instances like this in my young life where God showed Himself mighty. Today it is why I am so passionate about what I talk about on our live broadcasts, and when speaking to anyone and everyone, via live broadcasts.

Both the Church and the world deserve to see something—mature believers! Jesus didn’t die to simply get fire insurance to people. He wants to bring the lost into the kingdom but not leave them there. He is looking for mature believers. Again, this is why we are committed to raising up 1 million clear-eyed, clear-minded believers who will go out and win 1 billion to the Lord.

A lost generation deserves to see the real thing! They deserve to experience the power of the Spirit! As I said, the shop class scenario raised a fearlessness in me. Not only to win the lost but also to see what amazing things God was going to do next. Nothing has changed in my life and this ministry. I’ve never been more filled with a desire to see the lost won and believers mature than I do today.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” 

Jesus’ last words to the disciples summed up into one word, “Go!” Why did Jesus have to tell his disciples to go? Because many times we need someone to motivate us to do something. The word go is a great motivator. Have you ever been to a race and yelled to those running, “Stop!” I’m assuming the answer is no. Why? Because that would defeat the purpose of the race. The object is to win.

In this life we are in a race, however, this race is different than others. Meaning that in normal races, you try to beat your opponents. You want to “leave them in the dust” so to say. In the kingdom race of this life, it’s different. We want to bring as many with us to the finish line as we can. Bringing in those souls. I desire that when I stand before the Lord, I hear Him say, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.” I want to be faithful to the calling that God has on my life. I want to present the Lord with souls. 

One particular day, over 25 years ago, I attended a meeting to listen to a man who had been persecuted for preaching the gospel in middle eastern nations. He told how he had literally been stoned by Muslims and attacked for his faith. He walked in a very strong miracle anointing. Suddenly, while he was speaking prophetic ministry broke out. He called many of us to the front of the auditorium and as people were getting closer to the stage, he came down to the floor level. As he did, everyone running to the front fell under the power of the Holy Spirit. He stopped when he saw me and declared a loud prophetic word, “Young man, you will bring in One Million Disciples to the kingdom! One Million!” The power of God came all over me and branded that number into my heart. Here at this ministry, we are believing God to raise up 1 Million to reach a Billion. We strongly believe much of it will come through media. Which is also why we sense a World Broadcast Center right around the corner for us. We are believing for a building that will serve as an International HQ for Z Ministries, with offices and space for studios including a good space to host studio audiences.   

Where we are in history it is easy to see that the days are getting shorter, we sense an urgency. Just as the Lord desires that none should perish but that all should have eternal life (see 2 Peter 3:9). I desire the same thing. It grieves my heart to see the lost. We live in a world that is desperate for something more, something greater, and something real. They want the real. 

My friend, we have what they are looking for! All we need to do is show them, tell them, and be a representation of the Spirit’s power. I love what my friend Dave Duell used to say, “Well, that’s enough talking. It’s time for some demonstration!” Let’s demonstrate the love of Jesus and start impacting the world and bringing in souls through media. One million for a billion!

I want to encourage you today, be a light to those around you. If you are unable to go into the world by traveling abroad, know that you can be a light to those in your sphere of influence. Your kids, family members, coworkers, etc. When you support us by partnership, or by sowing today you are sending us both physically to locations and helping us aggressively expand our voice through media. It is important for Heather and I that we make a dramatic impact while we can and we still have the liberties we do.

Let’s join together, linking arms, and make a global impact! I remember years ago, asking the Lord, “Lord, I want to make your voice heard around the entire world through this broadcast, how do I do this when it’s so big?” His response was simple yet so profound. He said, “”Go live every weekday morning.” I obeyed that word, and plan to increase our reach and effectiveness to all might hear!  

This is what we are doing, multiplying! Thank you for being part of this ministry and helping us breathe life into a lost and dying generation! God, bless you partner. You mean more to us that we know how to say… together, I truly believe we can change the world!
